Meet Tara

Tara has been a practicing certified occupational therapist for over nine years. She graduated cum laude in 2012 from Scranton University with a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy. She started her career in Northern Virginia working in a continuing care retirement community which also lead her to outpatient therapy. She became the lead occupational therapist of the outpatient practice including her position as the lead OT for the movement disorder team and gained additional experience working in home health on the side.

 

After moving back to New York, Tara developed a dream to be able to provide skilled outpatient therapy directly in the home. So many times in the clinic, time is wasted trying to simulate a home set-up. Working directly in the home, we can assess so much more which will aide in finding truly individualized and sustainable solutions. Tara's passion and mission is to go beyond traditional therapy, providing you with a concierge therapy experience. She aims to help you achieve your goals, identify healthy habits that work for you, and to maintain your independence and happiness in your home.
